#Imagine: global movement at the service of the rights of all children in the world

UNICEF has announced today the #IMAGINE project, which is part of the celebrations on the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child; and has done it for a musical event at the United Nations General Assembly.

From today, all those who wish so, can record their own version of Imagine (by John Lennon), through a new interactive digital experience powered by TouchCast. In the words of Anthony Lake (UNICEF Executive Director), the project offers the opportunity to join a worldwide movement for children, contributing their own ideas, vision and voices, at the service of the rights of all children in the world .

People who participate in the #IMAGINE campaign will be able to share their recordings of John Lennon's classic song with their family and social media friends and encourage others to also interpret Imagine. They can also record personal messages describing that world better than they imagine for children.

Below I put a video as it shows:

To participate in #IMAGINE, you must: download the TouchCast app for iOS here; record your version of Imagine, accompanying Lennon, and a group of famous people, after pressing the red record button; record messages; and share the recordings with family and friends, adding the #EVERYVOICECOUNTS and #IMAGINE tags.

Participants can also make donations to UNICEF. The funds raised through the #IMAGINE project will be allocated to education, nutrition, health care, immunization, drinking water and sanitation, protection and emergency assistance programs for children in more than 150 countries and territories.

The production of the recordings of the participants, UNICF Goodwill Ambassadors, and well-known artists, will be carried out by David Gueta, who assures that the "world" version of Imagine will not resemble any other.

During the mentioned act they act Angélique Kidjo, Daniela Mercury, Laleh, Trey Lee, Don Jazzy, Kristian Kostov (artists from different countries); and have the collaboration of Hugh Jackman, Yoko Ono and Björn Ulvaeus (ABBA member).

Yoko Ono account that “A dream that only one person dreams can only be a dream, but the dreams that two people dream together are realities”.
