The Telerín family reminds us that we must take care of the planet

In previous years it was Pocoyo and in 2015 other cartoons point to Earth Hour. That family that took so many children to sleep, the Telerín family reminds us to take care of the planet.

"We go to bed to rest," they sang, and that moment gave way in many homes to the "older" schedule. They have turned 50 since their creation and they celebrate it, not sending children to their rooms, but to get their attention and ask that they take care of the planet, since they are the future.

Cleo, Teté, Maripí, Pelusín, Colitas and Cuquín join the global Earth Hour campaign, for which there are only eight days left. It will be on March 28 when, from 20:30 to 21:30, the lights go out in many homes around the world.

Aware of the importance of children in caring for the planet, the WWF World Wide Fund for Nature has dedicated a section on its website, #horadelospeques. Here we find, along with the video, proposals for activities to be carried out during Earth Hour as “Food Art” workshops, object reuse, Chinese shadow competition and crafts with the characters of the Telerín Family. Everything can be shared on Instagram with the previous hashtag.

By the way, that the producer Ánima Kitchent will celebrate the half-century of the Telerín Family with a series of animation of 52 episodes of 7 minutes starring Cleo Telerín, who, through his dreams, will make live everyday adventures by becoming different characters That will help others.

Now we see the Telerín family in this video in defense of the environment for Earth Hour 2015. They tell us: "It is time for the children and adults to take care of the planet." And, of course, turn off the light. Remember, we are all part of the solution.
