A paper letter at this point and without it being neither advertising nor an invoice is something like a "weird avis". That this letter is also addressed to an eleven or twelve year old child is even more strange if possible. And if the one who writes is your teacher, your tutor and during the holidays is something simply incredible.
But sometimes the incredible stories are the ones that are most worth telling and especially live, like the story of the letter from a teacher who loves to teach and who learns every day from his own students.
The teacher's name is Ivan and he is tutor of a group of students of 6th grade of primary school in a school of Alcalá de Henares, in the Community of Madrid. In full Easter holidays, he dedicated himself to writing to his students, to all, a letter on paper, with his envelope and his seal as has been done since always and less and less.
The surprise on the part of the students sure was magnificent but as much or more than those of the parents of these students who have been unwittingly made this letter a viral phenomenon because of the beauty of this detail and the scarcity which are details like this in our daily life.
Something so sincere
Because the letter is loaded with that, with sincerity on the part of Ivan, a young teacher who loves what he does: teach.
To the point of speaking to the boys and girls of his class in their language, to support them, to encourage them, to demand them but above all accompany them in one of the most complicated courses. In that in which officially it seems that they have to stop being children because they leave primary education. The one in which they intuit that the following will force them to grow older but they really don't know how or why.
Yes, they grow, their bodies above all. Some even have an incipient shadow on the lip in the middle of their face and they have more to look at them to see that they are no longer being girls by leaps and bounds but many of them and of them in the background are still children who they adjust their mind to their body and their new circumstances and have found in Ivan a teacher who accompanies them on this trip and they have noticed him, not only in this letter, but in his daily sincerity with them.
Great teachers
He never stops learning and this is recognized by this same teacher who says that his students teach him every day in class. He instructs them and they teach him, a perfect binomial that is given thanks to something that seems to always leave us in the inkwell: vocation and effort, both sides. Who does not remember any great teacher in his life?
Ivan's students will remind him and his letter and when they falter they will do it, as we all do, but they will have the great fortune to be able to read it as many times as necessary, as their teacher has told them at the end of the same and will always remember how much and good they learned together.
