The 10 most common myths of pregnancy

When we are pregnant, everyone thinks. That because of the shape of the gut, it is a girl, that your teeth and hair will fall out, that the baby will have a strawberry face if you do not satisfy your cravings, and a list of strangers and so on. Don't pay any attention, most of them have nothing true.

Among the most common myths, things like:

1) the gut in beak, male; the round gut, woman: neither the symptoms, nor the shape of the belly, nor the roundness of the face, nor the heart rate determine the sex of the baby. I know that anxiety makes us believe anything, but nothing better than ultrasound to get the doubt out.

2) the famous stain of craving: your uncontrollable desire to eat chocolate at 3 in the morning has no relation to the baby's spots.

3) If you have heartburn, the baby will be born with a lot of hair: the cause of the acidity is hormonal and physiological, it has nothing to do with the amount of hair. Or do you think that all mothers who have had heartburn have "hairy" children? 4) you have to eat for two: the key to food is quality and variety and not quantity. On the contrary, gaining a lot of weight is harmful.

5) bathing can cause infections: the uterus is sealed and protected by a mucous plug, however during the last month it can come off and it is not advisable to take long baths, it is better to shower.

6) You cannot have sex: as long as your doctor does not advise against it, there is no problem; The baby is protected and does not suffer any damage. It is also not true that passionate sex goes ahead with childbirth.

7) You cannot go to the dentist or your teeth will fall out: you can calmly follow any dental treatment, check with your gynecologist.

8) Do not dye your hair: it is impossible for the hair dye to reach the baby, what can happen is that your skin is more sensitive to the products and causes irritation.

9) If your mother had a bad birth, yours will be too: there are a number of factors that determine a birth, it does not depend solely on a hereditary issue.

10) You cannot exercise: on the contrary, moderate exercise is absolutely recommended as it favors the arrival of blood to the uterus and keeps us fit to face the delivery and for a faster recovery after delivery.

If anyone knows more, I invite you to complete the list.
