In July we have been in the City of Light, invited to my brother-in-law's wedding. With family commitments we have had few days to tour Paris, but the few have been as magnificent as the city.
For those who still have vacations and are planning a trip to Paris with young children, I will tell you “briefly” my experience.
The first thing I loved was the hotel. We stayed at the Novotel, in the center of Paris, next to the Gare de Lyon train station. In addition to being central, it has a children's area with a "Dolphinarium" (a heated children's pool), construction games, foosball and the bane of all tourist children, two playstation with the Spiderman game, with which all parents found it hard to get our children off the consoles; yes, except for German children who have an admirable behavior: zero lollipops, no protests and go to the first call.
From day one, Lucas wanted to see the Eiffel Tower. For him, this was the biggest attraction of Paris. He was obsessed with seeing the "pinchito" of the tower for how much street it looked out.
A ride that we really enjoyed as a family was the boat trip on the Seine, I think that everyone who visits Paris should take this short tour to admire the majestic buildings that border this romantic river.
In Paris there are several attractions for the little ones while the most emblematic places of the city are known.
For example, the fountains next to the Louvre pyramids are already a joy for the little ones. Lucas and Arturo have been absorbed contemplating the water.
In this itinerary there is also the Tuileries Garden where the little ones in their fountains can start a sailing boat for a few euros.
There is also a small amusement park with its ferris wheel from which you can see a spectacular view of this area of Paris with the Louvre in the background. In this park Lucas preferred to take colored ducklings to win a prize, he won a boat to make soap bubbles all over Paris, an idea that Arturo also liked.
