Feed the baby with baby pots when we are on vacation

When we go on vacation with a baby who is in the complementary feeding stage, one of the doubts that assail us, especially if we have a kitchen at hand, is that of the purees that he will eat while we are away.

There is no doubt that the best is carefully prepared food at home with fresh produce.

But, When we are on vacation this is not possible in most cases and we must resort to homogenized baby food: "the little pots".

There is nothing to fear, these foods meet all the standards of quality, production and preparation of Directive 96/5 / EEC, which requires strict quality control standards, and whose ingredients, composition (protein, sodium and density energy) and handling standards are listed on the label. They are made in optimal hygienic conditions and have an adequate nutritional value.

In the market you will find fruit, vegetable and meat or fish pots. Those of fruits, are elaborated based on varied fruits (peach, apple and banana, or others like apricot, orange or pineapple), enriched or not with vitamins. Its ingredients are strictly controlled, guaranteeing the quality and nutritional contribution of these little cups to achieve a correct development in the child. They avoid the existence of preservatives or pesticides to offer a top quality product.

Those of vegetables are menus made with a variety of vegetables to which meat or fish of different nature is added. Its ingredients are strictly controlled, both vegetables and animals, guaranteeing the quality and nutritional contribution of these pots to achieve proper development in the child. They produce their products with raw materials from evaluated and approved suppliers that certify a control of their food from its origin to the arrival at the processing plant.

In general, all brands that are on the market comply with all food standards. When I turn to them, I bought Nutribén's that are free of milk (my son is allergic) and egg and are found in pharmacies. Carrefour supermarkets have a line of baby food made with ingredients from organic farming and have a very good value for money.

Before embarking on the trip or ride, make sure that the baby has become accustomed to the taste. I remember on a trip to France that I bought my baby some of the typical green beans in that country, and my son hated them, thankfully he was still breastfeeding, so he had no trouble being well fed.
