The doctor. Carlos Gonzalez, well-known pediatrician author of several books about the world of babies (and that you already know in Babies and more for being the protagonist of various entries), has recently been interviewed on Criatures.cat, the portal dedicated to moms and dads in Catalonia, and every week we can see an excerpt from said interview in the form of a video.
The interview is in Catalan and Criatures.cat has given us the videos to subtitle them and offer them to our readers since, although they are short, they are very interesting.
In this first video, Dr. González explains the reason for writing his book on breastfeeding entitled “A present for the whole life”.
As he explains, the mother who decides to give the bottle always gets it, however, not all mothers who want to breastfeed do so for various reasons and the intention of the book is to offer information to try to help these mothers to have a happy breastfeeding.
The book is an authentic encyclopedia of breastfeeding explained in a pleasant and close way, as the pediatrician usually does in his books, so it is suitable for both mothers and fathers who want to know how the breast, breastfeeding and how babies' nutritional needs work
