Today I want to share with you a story that I liked a lot because it is about an event about Maternity aimed not only at moms, but also at parents, the general public and professionals from different fields who care to meet the needs of mothers and their families.
The next June is celebrated in the city of Gandía (Valencia) on I National Congress of Multitasking Maternity. It will be in the Aula Magna of the Campus of Gandía of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and its motto is "For the Conciliation: between the desires, the rights and the duties".
A statement that invites us to participate, a commitment to the direct participation of mothers from the perspective of their decision-making power, and an organizing committee formed by expert women. They are businesswomen, teachers, journalists, psychologists, ..., and among the group that has promoted and shaped the realization of the congress is our companion of Babies and More, Mireia Long. We can attend this congress as listeners, and also present a communication (the maximum deadline to do so is next May 18). It is a great opportunity to share knowledge, recognize ourselves in the contributions of others, and enjoy the quality of the speakers, and the guests at the round tables.
Names like Cristina Romero Miralles (co-author of 'A new motherhood') Emilio Santos Leal (psychiatrist and gynecologist), Pilar Martínez (pharmacist and businesswoman) or Ramón Soler (psychologist and therapist). Here you have the program because in a few lines it is almost impossible to show you all the large representation of professionals who will develop their themes around five thematic areas.

Motherhood makes us stronger, more capable, but also, without the necessary support and good planning, it can overwhelm us by trying to reconcile and reconcile our desires, duties and rights as mothers and women. Every woman is a multidimensional and complex being who cannot understand or attend from a single perspective. A mother will be even more so, because, in addition to taking care of herself and her integral personal and work development, she assumes a very important responsibility, that of giving her life, raising and educating her children in a conscious and responsible way. Personal growth, economic prosperity, intellectual and cultural development, the visibility of their social or political commitment, are factors that we must understand as interrelated with those that refer to the fact of motherhood itself, because in a mother everything is in contact and each aspect influences others
And so you can see that in this congress, mothers and families are very careful, I tell you that if you all attend, you can take in the family “pack” that costs 95 euros (for couples with or without children). Although there are also other rates counting the "standard" (90 euros), another with discount for students of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and even a price to follow the event online (110 euros).
