Baby Essentials Foundation My Mom takes care of me promotes reconciliation between maternity and professional life

One of the biggest challenges a woman faces when she becomes a mother is how to make family and work life compatible. To help working moms and businesses to achieve a real reconciliation that favors breastfeeding and baby care, the baby has just been born. Baby Essentials Foundation My mom takes care of me.

The idea has been created by Marcela del Hoyo, creator of the Baby Essentials childcare firm, based on her own experience and that of the team of mothers working in the company. There the schedules adjust to the needs of the moms, breastfeeding is favored at work and the children are with their mothers until at least the first year of life.

They are convinced that taking care of children does not interfere at all with work, with the development of new projects and with the company's internationalization plans. To convey these principles and encourage other women to take care of their children without giving up their professional life, the foundation plans several actions.

On the one hand, actions aimed at mothers as training courses for those who wish to undertake or turn their work life, create a job bank, give free legal advice, etc. And on the other hand, actions with companies, to favor breastfeeding, the creation of nurseries in the workplace and the flexibility of working mothers' schedules in the first year of their children's lives.

The Baby Essentials Foundation My Mom takes care of me It has already been launched with two signatures: one for the legal regulation of the hour bank for working mothers and the other for the creation of nursery rooms in companies. Of course, you can collaborate with both projects.

I think it's a great initiative for real conciliation, but what I like most is that it is born from the experience of a group of working women who know first-hand the needs of mothers and their children.
