Imperfect moms: how we see each other and how children see us (video)

This exciting video that puts women in front of the maternity mirror is circulating on the networks. I imagine that none of you, dear readers, pretend to be a perfect mother. We are imperfect moms, moms who try to be better every day, that we make mistakes and learn from our mistakes, moms who educate our children the best we can, the best we know.

In the video you will see how mothers see us and how children see us. First, a group of women were asked to describe themselves as mothers. All pointed to weaknesses, frustrations, doubts, lack of patience and the difficulty of dealing with their own insecurities every day. That's how self-critical we are moms.

A couple of days later, mothers were asked to see what their children said about them. The children saw the positive and most loving part of their mothers, what they liked to do with them, how much they loved them.

For our children we are the best mother because beyond our imperfections, we have them like any human being, we give them unconditional love. We are all imperfect mothers, fortunately, because it is the way to always want to do better. I think we should have more confidence in raising our children, be aware that it is a path we travel together, in which we grow together.

If our children were asked to talk about us, they would surely say similar things. For them we are the best mom in the world. Have you ever heard your children talking about you? What did they say? How have you felt? I encourage you to reflect together on the subject in the comments of the post.
