Mexican food recipes for children and adults

I have recently attended a cooking course in which we practice some of the typical Mexican food recipes. The food is perfectly adaptable for kids although there are some flavors that may not be the most suitable for them. I also include, just for the elderly, some additional clue that can be enjoyable before, during and after the meal.

We can start the article with basic sauces from Mexico, we continue with some beef skewers or wires, we continue with some northern fajitas and we finished with a cocktail Daisy flower for the older ones they can take before, during or after the meal. He crow's beak It is the sauce that is most often served to accompany tacos, rice, meats or fish. You have to mix the tomatoes, onion, chiles and cilantro very well. Then add salt, water and lemon juice. Let it rest well before serving to gain flavor. The pico de gallo is made with chopped and unpeeled tomatoes, also chopped onion, chiles or jalapeños that are more disguised also cut into cubes, coriander, salt, water and lemon juice. Like guacamole, it is a one-day sauce, so you should adjust the size according to the guests.

The skewers, which we have already commented on Peques and Más, can be done very easily. Is about marinate the meat with wine and parsley for an hour in the fridge. In addition, sauté the vegetables, cut into small squares, in a pan with a little oil until they reach a golden color. The meat is also sauteed in a pan with very hot oil until golden brown. Then, after cooling everything, the skewers are mounted alternating meat and vegetables. Here, diced beef, cherry tomatoes are used, which are very good on the skewer, onion and red and green pepper cut into small squares to get an attractive and juicy skewer for children.

And finally the northern fajitas, which we can fill with the sauces mentioned and complement the attractive skewers. The fajitas are made cutting the onion, pepper and chicken into strips. Saute the pepper, add the onion and add the chicken. It is also seasoned with salt and pepper. It is best to present it on a plate accompanied by the wheat flour tortilla so that the kids fill them and decorate to taste.

And the special complement for the elderly. The cocktail Daisy flower which is very easy, as long as a good blender is available. Because what you need to do is mix the following ingredients, for six people, 140 ml (milliliters) of Tequila, 60 ml of Cointreau, 40 grams of sugar, 30 ml of lemon juice, salt and ice. Everything in the blender and once well beaten, it is thrown into a glass with the edges, which have previously been covered with salt. It is also decorated with a slice of lemon and drink.
